Tall Oak Vessel
£550
Turned from a branch fork of Oak sourced at Westonbirt Arboretum, this vessel carries the complexity of its origins in every inch of the surface. Where two branches once met, the grain shifts and converges — rings intersecting at angles, sunburst patterns emerging, colour deepening and lifting across the form. As the wood dried and moved, splits formed naturally within the piece, adding to its sense of history and time.
The live edge traces the natural line of the branch, and throughout, medullary rays catch the light in the way only Oak can — silvery, shifting, particular to this wood and this tree.
Finished with natural Auro oil.
