Spalted Ash Vessel with Subtle Live Edge
£200
Availability: In stock
Turned from green Ash felled locally due to Ash Dieback, this vessel was once-turned and left to dry naturally, allowing for gentle warping and subtle asymmetry to emerge. The form tapers at the top and widens toward a solid, grounded base, giving it a calm presence and a slightly unusual silhouette.
The wood is pale overall, with light, dappled spalting and deeper accents in places. A subtle live edge finishes the rim — understated but true to the material’s origin. Smoothly finished with Osmo Top Oil, the surface has a soft, tactile quality that complements its flowing shape.
This vessel is food-safe but intended for display — a quiet, sculptural piece with soft curves and natural movement.
