This large bowl is turned from locally and sustainably sourced Walnut, showcasing the wood’s naturally rich colouring — shifting from deep chocolate tones to warm golden hues. The grain is full of character, with two distinctive knots and flowing patterns that bring life to the surface.
A smooth, flowing rim is interrupted by a single cutaway section of live edge, left in place to preserve the tree’s original contour. The wall has been turned thin, giving the piece a refined lightness that contrasts with its bold natural features.
Finished with Osmo Top Oil and food-safe, this bowl is intended for display — a simple, striking form that lets the wood speak for itself.
