This website is operated and owned by me, Alexei Sawyer (trading under my own name).

In these Terms and Conditions:
- “I”, “me”, or “my” refers to Alexei Sawyer.
- “You” or “the customer” refers to the person purchasing goods from me.
- “Contract” means the contract between us for the sale and purchase of goods, which incorporates these Terms.
- “Goods” means the handcrafted items purchased by you.
- “Terms” refers to these terms and conditions in full.
These are the only terms under which I supply goods, and they form an integral part of the contract between us. Any variations must be agreed in writing by both parties.
Prices
Prices listed on my website are not subject to VAT.
Postage and packaging are shown separately at checkout and are payable in addition to the product price.
For international orders or special requests, I will confirm the shipping cost separately — payment will be required before dispatch.
Prices may change at any time without prior notice.
Handmade Products
Each item I make is handcrafted and one of a kind.
Because of this, small variations in grain, colour, shape, or texture are natural and to be expected. These are not defects — they are part of what makes each piece unique.
Ordering Goods Online
When you place an order, you confirm that all details provided are accurate and complete.
An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of the order — I reserve the right to cancel orders due to errors or unforeseen circumstances.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required before any items are dispatched.
Payment is accepted through secure card payment systems on my website.
Delivery
I’ll provide estimated delivery times at checkout or via email, but please note these are not guaranteed delivery dates.
If an item arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours and retain the original packaging for any potential claims.
Returns & Cancellations
Each piece is individually made or one of a kind. For this reason, I cannot accept returns or cancellations once an order is placed.
If an item is faulty, please refer to the Faulty Goods & Warranty section below.
Risk & Ownership
Responsibility for the goods passes to you upon delivery.
Ownership remains with me until full payment is received.
Faulty Goods, Warranties & Liability
I take great care in making and checking each item. If, however, a fault arises within six months of delivery, please get in touch.
If the issue is due to a defect in workmanship or materials, I will offer to repair or replace the item where possible.
My liability will not exceed the total amount you paid for the item.
Privacy
Your personal data will only be used for processing your order and delivery. I will never share your information with third parties unless it’s essential for fulfilling your order (e.g. Royal Mail).

Customer Default
I reserve the right to cancel an order and reclaim unpaid goods if:
- You provide inaccurate contact or payment details
- A payment is cancelled or fails
- You breach these Terms
Force Majeure
I won’t be held responsible for delays or failure to fulfil obligations due to events outside my control — such as natural disasters, strikes, or material shortages.
Intellectual Property
All images, designs, text, and content on this site are the intellectual property of Alexei Sawyer.
You may not copy, reuse, or reproduce any content without written permission.
Disputes & Governing Law
I always aim to resolve issues calmly and directly. If needed, unresolved matters may be referred to mediation with mutual agreement.
All contracts and disputes are governed by English law.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms occasionally. Please check this page for any changes. Your continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
