Apple Wood Vessel – X

A piece in which the raw character of the timber is allowed full expression.

The live edge is bold and present, the form shaped directly by what the wood offered, and the surface reveals the natural patterning, grain and markings that were concealed within the log until the turning process brought them to light.

Turned from apple wood sourced from Westonbirt Arboretum and finished with natural Auro oil.

A one-of-a-kind sculptural work for those drawn to the honesty of natural materials.

Pieces may have tool marks, warps, cracks or irregularities - they’re all part of the story!
