Apple Wood Vessel – VIII

An asymmetric vessel shaped entirely by the character of the original log.

A dramatic live edge runs around the rim, with remnants of bark still present in places — a direct connection to the tree retained deliberately rather than removed.

Burr patterning, knots and warm grain shift in quality and tone across the surface, with each angle revealing something new. A piece in which the wood made every significant decision. Finished with natural Auro oil.

Pieces may have tool marks, warps, cracks or irregularities - they’re all part of the story!
