Apple Wood Vessel – XI

A personal favourite from the collection, and one of the most distinctive pieces in it.

Tall and narrower in form, with a dramatic variation in height across the live edge rim that gives the piece an animated, almost sculptural silhouette. What makes this vessel particularly special is a rare quality in the spalting: the natural process left behind red flecks within the pattern — an unusual and beautiful occurrence that makes this piece entirely unrepeatable.

Finished with natural Auro oil.

Pieces may have tool marks, warps, cracks or irregularities - they’re all part of the story!
